U.S. Flights Grounded: Is There a Link to the New Jersey UFO Incident?

On December 24th, all domestic flights of American Airlines were grounded, drawing widespread attention. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a "ground stop" order for all domestic flights of American Airlines in the early morning. The order was lifted about an hour later.

Shortly before this incident, since mid-November, a large number of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) have been sighted over New Jersey, sparking intense public discussion and concern among officials. According to the FBI, from November 19th to December 13th, it received over 5,000 reports of drone sightings, with over a thousand of them in New Jersey alone. These UFOs have been spotted over a wide range of areas, not only in New Jersey but also gradually spreading to New York State and parts of the East Coast. They have even appeared over U.S. military facilities, causing public panic and strong political doubts.

There is a speculation that the grounding of U.S. flights may be related to the UFOs over New Jersey. Although American Airlines attributed the flight suspension to technical issues, such as software glitches that prevented weight calculations and flight demand estimations, many people suspect that the UFOs over New Jersey might have interfered with the airline's technical systems, leading to this grounding incident. However, there is currently no conclusive evidence to support this claim.

Previously, the White House and relevant departments issued a statement saying that many of these UFO sightings were misidentifications of legal drones, fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, law enforcement tools, or even stars. Nevertheless, this explanation has not been fully accepted by the public.

The grounding of all American Airlines flights during one of the busiest travel seasons of the year has caused great inconvenience to numerous passengers. Currently, flights have resumed normal operations. However, whether the real cause of the flight suspension is related to the New Jersey UFO incident remains to be further investigated and confirmed.
